| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This thicker insole provides the ultimate in support, balance and shock absorption. The contoured design with rear-foot and mid-foot control points helps center the heel and balance body weight. The three-part shock absorption system features a stabilizing heel cup, a slight rocker bottom, and a soft side to accommodate soft tissue expansion. Durable foam with special Holofiber top cover create long-lasting comfort.

A rip-off that's a bargain September 18, 2007 K. Swanson (Austin, TX United States) 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
Waaaaay overpriced for the materials, but they do exactly what they should, so I can't complain.
Contrary to a previous reviewer's experience, they will NOT last forever. I've had mine for a few years and they are toast under both big toes, worn through. To be fair, they've seen thousands of miles of running, many week-long excursions in the Rockies at 12-14,000 feet including sloshing in and out of endless streams and lakes, plenty of tennis, and so on. I move them from shoe to shoe and miss them when I don't; that's a good sign (but shows how crappy most insoles are).
I pronate somewhat, and these keep my knees happy; that's worth a lot of money in many ways.
So, despite costing way too much for what they're made of, the company will get my biz again because the r&d is worth the ridiculous markup.
Now that's a business plan that makes sense.
I just wish someone would knock them off for five bucks!
They just might outlast your feet February 13, 2006 R. Harris (USA) 16 out of 17 found this review helpful
Mine have been abused. Soaked and hiked in for days. They go into my marathon shoes. I can't speak to how they'll fit you because we're all different but I can tell you they will last forever. With exception of the sweat stains and some gouging on the bottom where rocks got in, the foam density, plastic heel cup shape and rigidity, and the fabric all are almost exactly like my new pair (which I got to fit my new slightly-oversized marathon shoes).
Look at the photos I uploaded to judge for yourself.
They are incredible. It's hard to spend almost $30 for some plastic and some foam (they probably cost $1 to make if that) but what the heck, they really work well for my very average, very neutral foot.

I also have plantar fascitis from hopping around so much. I wear these in every single pair of shoes I have. They are also great for ski and snowboard boots if you have wide, flat feet - the higher arch will raise your foot slightly and help prevent flattening where your toes just goosh out in all of the wrong sideways directions. If you are looking at cheaper gel or rubber type insoles to help cure some foot pain, don't try it. You're going to waste money like I did until you find your super feet.
Great Product October 1, 2005 Kathryn K. Pippin 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a great product. I have high arches and these have helped me immensely.

These insoles are great! What a difference. I have just recently realized that I need to think seriously about taking care of my feet...and boy do I notice a difference!
